Dr. Esther Lee
Dr. Lee is committed to her patients and their well-being. She practices predictable, evidence-based dentistry that considers both function and esthetics, so not only do you look healthy, You are healthy.
Dr. Lee uses a comprehensive, risk assessment approach to critically evaluate your needs in four areas: 1) Function (joints, bite, and chewing), 2) Biomechanics (existing tooth structure and previous dentistry), 3) Periodontal health (gums and bone), and 4) Esthetics (smile characteristics). The results of the assessment provide her with the information she needs to work with you to create a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your vision of long-term dental health.
Dr. Lee’s passion for dentistry and her desire to provide excellent care for her patients inspires her to pursue continuous learning. This allows her to stay abreast on current technologies, products, and protocols. Dr. Lee loves to motivate and encourage other dentists, whether she is teaching in Calgary, or mentoring dentists and specialists from around the world at the Kois center in Seattle. She feels privileged to have the opportunity to foster a sense of community within her profession.
Dr. Lee was raised in Calgary and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta in 1994. She served as a clinical instructor in the Department of Pediatrics and Prosthodontics (crown and bridge) at the University of Alberta Dental School before moving back to Calgary in 1997.
Dr. Lee is a general dentist with a special interest in full mouth reconstruction, cosmetic dentistry, and pediatric dentistry.
She is a member of the Calgary and District Dental Society, Alberta Dental Association, and Canadian Dental Association.
She is a mentor at the Kois Center in Seattle for advanced dental learning, the founder and director of the Calgary Kois Study Club and she is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
